Alflona (la.) Upper DM Maine* Tu«doy, July 13, 1965 NIELV LIUl LINDA AND DAVID Pratt, returned to their home, Sunday, after a two weeks visit with thefr grandparents Mr. and Mrs. UtyA Pratt. Their mother, Mrs. Jim Pratt, had been hospitalized 'at Fort Madison after injuries suffered when thrown from a horse, June 26. She has now been released from the hospital. MR. AND MRS. Don Sherman and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Schenck spent the weekend in Minneapolis and attended a Twins-Yankee ball game. MR. AND MRS. Grady Phillips will visit their daughter, Gayle, at a resort at Cook, Minn, this coming weekend. Gayle is employed at the resort this summer. RAY LANGFITT, manager of the local theatre and drive-in, was to go to St. Paul, Minn. Wednesday, where he is entering Bethesda hospital for possible eye surgery. MARY BRADLEY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bradley, attended the wedding of a classmate from Duchesne College of Omaha, at Sioux Falls, S. D. on Saturday. MR. AND MRS. Miles Sloniker, Kim and Carol, are vacationing in California, and Mr. Sloniker is also attending the national Lions Club convention. MR. AND MRS. Mitch Taylor and four older children have gone to New York to attend the Worlds Fair and will come home via Canada. The two younger children are being cared for by their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll WiUrett. MRS. INEZ WOU>E is convalescing from major surgery performed at the University hospital a few weeks ago. She is with relatives at Davenport. MICHAEL STREIT of Cedai Rapids was an overnight guest recently of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Streit. He and his family are expected for the weekend and from here are going on vacation to points in Minnesota and LaCrosse, Wis. BYR0N RICHARDSON Hew last week from Mason City to Summit, New Jersey, where he will visit his son Max and family. MRS.
