Engagement Of Algona Man Is Announced Patricia Woltz Weds Robert Crail RUTH MORGAN Rev. and Mrs. John B. Morgan of Kansas City, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ruth Fern, to Alvln Albert Hagg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hagg, formerly of Algona, now of Monrovia, Cal. Miss Morgan attended Northwest Missouri State College in Maryville, Mo. and is now employed at Omaha. Mr. Hagg is a graduate of North west Missouri State College with a B. S. degree in education. He is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon social fraternity, Kappa Delta Pi honor society in education and Irl Beta honor society in biology. The wedding will take place August 7 at the Memorial Evangelical United Brethern church at Kansas City, Mo. The couple will live in Omaha where Mr. Hagg has signed a contract to teach biology in the Omaha school system. BURT - Patricia Ann Woltz became the bride of Robert Cecil crail in an evening ceremony, June 12, at Hurt Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Bruce Calbreath officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Woltz of Hurt and the bridegroom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Crail of Algona. Attendants to the couple were the brides' sister and brother- in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simpson. There was a reception for about 50 guests in the church dining room, after the ceremony. The couple will be at home at Algona, where the bridegroom Is employed at George McVay's Body Shop. The bride is a 1965 graduate of Hurt High School and the bridegroom attended high school at Algona. HONORED AT SHOWER The bride was honored at a recent pre-nuptlal shower at Hurt Presbyterian Church. Guests were registered by Roberta Atkerman and Mrs. Fred Hilton waff-in charge of a program which included an original reading ,by Miss Ackerman and song's by Mary and Norma Harms. Mrs. Donald Rlngsdorr, aunt of the honoree, poured at the tea table. BURT - The wedding of Jayne Eileen Black and Eugene H. Pedersen was solemnized the morning of May 29 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church at Humboldt, la. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Black of Burt and the parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pedersen of Humboldt. The Rev. I. C. Jenson officiated at the double-ring ceremony and attendants to the couple were the bride's cousin Janet Black, maid of honor, and William Under as best man. There was a noon reception In the church parlors for about 75 guests. The couple planned a brief wedding trip to Minnesota and will then be at home at Clear Lake, la. The bride, a 1963 Burt High School graduate, does not plan to continue her work as a nurses aide at Fort Dodge Lutheran The bridegroom, a Humboldt High School graduate, Is employed by a Clear Lake firm.
