BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALGONA, IOWA as follows: Section 1. Section 3 of Chapter 2, Title V of the Municipal Code Is hereby amended by striking out following the words CITY LICENSE the paragraph "Every owner of a dog shall procure a dog license from the City Clerk on or before the first day of January of each year. The annual license fee shall be $2.00 for each dog. In the Issuance of said license fractional parts of a year will be disregarded and there will be no refund on licenses paid." And substituting in lieu thereof, "Every owner of a dog shall procure a dog license from the City Clerk on or before the first day of July of each year . The collection of a license fee for a dog that is now licensed, for the period January 1, 1966 to June 30, 1966 is hereby waived. The annual license fee shall be $2.00 for each dog. In the issuance of said license fractional parts of a year will be disregarded and there will be no refund on licenses paid." Section 2.
