It also lists licensed day-care centers, nursing homes, civic associations, employment referral services, vital statistics, tutoring assistance and parks. Most nonprofit caregivers in Oakland County have received copies. Some free copies are available for 501 (c) (3) human-service agencies and church service groups. Nonprofits must send in their requests on letterhead.

Anyone can buy the 300-page directory for $28. To request a free copy or to buy one, write to Oakland County Youth Assistance, 1200 N. Telegraph, Pontiac 48341.
