St. Joe Family Hosts 65 At Sunday Dinner ST. JOE - Sunday, June 6, the John Bormann family entertained 65 members of the Stess- man family. Dinner and supper were served to the guests in the local K.C. hall, The afternoon was spent at the Bormann home. Those present at the gathering were Al, Frank and Veronica Stessman, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Stessman and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Adoloph Stessman and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stessman and sons and Benlta Langenfeld, all from Earling, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stessman and family and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Stessman of Dunlap, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stessman and daughters, Des Molnes, Mr. and Mrs. John Stessman and family and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Langenfeld and family of Harlan, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stessmann and family of Waterloo, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Nebel and family of Imogene, and the John Bormann family of here. - o - Connie and Joanne Stessmann of Earling are spending a few days this week with their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John Bormann and sons. Jolene Dahlhauser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dahlhauser, Algona, was honored at a prenuptial shower Monday evening in the Moose Hall, Algona, with relatives from here attending the courtesy. Attending from here were Mrs. John Thul, Mrs. George Wagner, Mrs. Harold Reding, Mrs. Alfred Reding, Mrs. Ray Kohlhaas, Mrs. Richard Thul and Mrs. Sylvester Wagner. Miss Dahlhauser will be the bride of David George, Monday June 28, in St. Cecelia's Catholic church, Algona. Jane Wilson, eighth grade graduate of St. Joseph's School, was not mentioned in a previous list of the grade graduates. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson of Livermore. Kay Lenertz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lenertz, Livermore, was honored at a prenuptial shower in Sacred Heart parish hall, Livermore, Sunday evening, with friends from here attending the courtesy. Miss Lenertz will be the bride of Donald Henry, Minneapolis, June 19, at Livermore. Mrs. Ralph Reding was taken seriously sick on Sunday even- fng and taken by ambulance to •St. Ann hospital, Algona where she is a medical patient. Mrs. Milford Plathe entered Mercy hospital, Fort Dodge, Tuesday and underwent surgery Thursday. Danny Reding, 8, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reding, underwent a tonsillectomy in Mercy hospital, Fort Dodge, Monday. Bob and Ray Erpelding and Phil Bormann, all from here, and Dan Bray, Algona, attended graduation exercises at St. John's high school, Collegeville Minn. June 6, where Nick Erpelding was a member of the class. Nick, son of Mr, and Mrs. Alvin Erpelding attended Garrigan, Algona until the past year when the family moved to St. Joe, Minn. Ray and Dan are planning to attend St, John's College this fall.
