The students created wild murals with big, cartoonlike handprints in yellow, orange, fuchsia, chartreuse and blue signifying a theme this year for Mercedes: one of a global partner joining with the local people.

A giant banner hangs above the exhibit announcing "Mercedes Meets Detroit Hand-In-Hand." The artists can be found painting throughout the auto show's run this week. In May, they will travel to Spain with Mercedes for the Barcelona auto show.
