McDonald, 48, of Detroit, a retired Detroit Department of Louise Williams Kelley i Wife of former Royal Oak mayor Louise Williams Kelley, wife of a former mayor of Royal Oak, died of I cancer, Thursday, Nov. 21, 1996 at I her son's Royal Oak residence. She was 81.

Mrs. Kelley, a Southfield resident, I was a librarian at the Madison I Heights Public Library. Her late hus- band, Howard Kelley, was the may Eccentric newspaper, died of cancer Thursday, Nov. 21, 1996, in Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was 83.

At GM, Mr. Harwood was editor of publications and national customer relations manager for the' Pontiac division. Prior to joining GM, he worked at the Eccentric for four years, and then resigned to join the Navy. Survivors include his wife, Beverly, a son, John two stepdaughters, Kathy Powell and Susan Harvey; a stepson, James; and two sisters. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.

Monday in First United Methodist Church, 1589 W. Maple, Birmingham. and 6-9 p.m. today at the William Sullivan Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile, Royal Oak.

Harwood GM executive; newspaper editor John H. Harwood, a former General Motors Corp. executive and managing editor of the Birmingham nament at Dunrovin and at Chilsolm Hills, and in 1987, in Lansing. Over the years, his passion for golf moved him to challenge his father, Willie, and friends to shoot 18 holes nearly every week in the summer on Tuesdays and Fridays. "Are you because you know I invented the game," is one of the many phrases Mr.

McDonald recited in phone conversations taunting his would-be challengers. When he wasnt on the course he found a formidable golf-tournament challenge through sites on the Internet. He also had a passion for collecting. He owned collections of jazz music and fine art including paintings, rare poster prints and crystal sculpture. One of the most recent highlights in his life was an opportunity to attend the Million Man March in Washington last year.

Survivors include three daughters, Carla, Shelly and Lorri; twin sons, Blake and Blair; five sisters, Kimmy, Karen and Kristy McDonald and Susan and Stephanie Johnson; four brothers, Leslie and Cory McDonald and Stephen and Jimmy Johnson; mother, Constance Williams; father and stepmother, Willie and Edna McDonald; and his grandmother, Ella. Services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Swanson Funeral Home, 14751 W. McNichols, Detroit. Memorials may be sent to the Michigan Lupus Foundation, 26202 Harper, St.

Clair Shores, 48081. Transportation and Greyhound bus driver, died from heart failure Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996, in Sinai Hospital, Detroit. Mr. McDonald, who was an amateur golfer, received awards in 1984 for shooting a hole-in-one or of Royal Oak from 1953 to 1959.

She is survived by a daughter, Leslie Waddell of Virginia Beach; a son, Howard; and her sister, Ethel Lambert of Pattenburg, N.J. He also served in the Coast Guard during World War It Mr. Brossier is survived by his wife, Betty his son, Jay C. of Long Beach, and his sister, Betty Jane Dion of Timber Pines, Fla.

mobile Manufacturers Association. Mr. Brossier, former Detroit bureau chief for the Associated Press, died Nov. 23, 1996 at the Citrus Memorial Hospital in Iverness, Fla. He was 78.

An Orlando native and resident of Homosassa, Mr. Brossier began his newspaper career as a copy boy at the Orlando Morning Sentinel.
