GRADUATED JUNE 5 Sharon lenem, daughter of Mr. and Mrc. Al lenertz of Uvermore, ond Sheryl Fuhrmann, daughter of Mr. and Mr». Lawrence Fuhrmonn of Uvermore, graduated on Sat- urdoy, June 5, from St. Joseph Mercy School of Nursing at Mason Crty, Iowa. Both are graduates of Twin Rivers high school. (Humboldt Independent Fotos) Titonka Has Commencement, Baccalaureate TITONKA - The Junior-Senior Banquet was held Saturday evening, May 15, at the school. The theme, "Song in My Heart," -AUS carried out in decorations, menu and program following the meal. A prom was held in the decorated gym later in the evening. Baccalaureate services were held Sunday evening at the school auditorium. The sermon was delivered by Rev. John Janssen who spoke on "Only One Life To Live." Invocation and bene- diction were given by Rev. Richard Thomas. The commencement exercises were held Monday evening for the senior class. Invocation was given by Rev. A. F. Gerstmann. The address was delivered by Henry Galbreth, associate director of Iowa Association of School Boards. He spoke on "Back To The Fundamentals." Harold Gingrich, president of the school board, presented diplomas to the 34 members of the graduating class. James Rode was valedictorian and Janice Larsen, salutatorian. - o - Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Heifner of Thief River Falls visited over the weekend at the parental L. C. Heifner home. Upper De* Molnes- Tuesday, June 8, 1965 opening date of the city arts and crafts program, under the leadership of Elaine-Bruch and Diana Rentz, and assistant Kathy Bestenlehner. This program will be held at the Bryant school for a period of six weeks. This year's program will be divided into two age groups, one of 3 to 5 year olds and the other 6 to 10 years of age. They will meet Monday thru Fridays at 9:00 to 11:15 jach week day. The wading pool will open Monday June 7 at 1:30 to 5:00 p. m. seven days a week.
