Nader, Royal Oak dentist Services for Dr. John M. Nader, a dentist, will be 10:15 a.m. Saturday at our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church at 32340 Pierce in Birmingham. Dr.

Nader, a lifelong Detroit area resident, died Tuesday at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was 73. A resident of Royal Oak for eight years, Dr. Nader practiced in that city up to the time of his death. He was a member of the Michigan Dental Society, the Detroit District Dental So- ciety and Elks Lodge 34 and a life member of American Legion Lake Orion Post 233.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth a daughter, Marilyn McCarthy of Livonia; a son, Don McKay of Ohio; six grandchildren; two brothers, and two sisters. Easlick retired from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1963, a colleague recalled it took three professors to replace him. "He meant that much," said Dr.

David Striffler, professor of dentistry and director of dental public health at Dr. Easlick, 86, who played a major role in establishing the field of dental care for children, died Friday at Glacier Hills Nursing Center in Ann Arbor. A private service has been scheduled for family members. He served on the U-M dental faculty for 35 years and he developed the school's first teaching program in dentistry for children. He engaged in some of the earliest research in clinical dental techniques for children.

Because of his studies and teaching, about half of the chairmen of departments of pedodontlcs (dentistry for children) In the nation and a number of dental school deans are his former students. DR. EASLICK also pioneered another field in the 1940s when he developed the first graduate program in dental public health in the United States. He supervised a research project on one of the first fluoridation plans in the 1940s. After he retired, he continued with a heavy work load.

He worked for the 10 years after his retirement as editor of the Journal of Public Health Dentistry, executive director of the American Board of Dental Public Health, and secretary-treasurer of the Michigan Dental Service Corp. Wilhelm Kaisen, 92, German Social Democrat who directed Bremen's reconstruction for 20 years after World War II. Kaisen gave up politics for farming dur- Ing the Hitler years, and was installed as health director of Bremen when the Allies set up a military gov- ernment in June 1945. He was appointed as mayor in August of the same year and confirmed by popular vote in November. Rogelio Matos, 93, who came to Puerto Rico from Cuba seven weeks ago with his son, Huber Matos. The younger Matos was a former military comrade who split with Fidel Castro and spent 20 years in a Cuban prison.

Rogelio Matos died in San Juan. William E. Spaulding, 81, president and chairman of the book publishing firm Houghton Mifflin Co. until his retirement in 1966. Died in Boston.
