4-Al9ena, (la.) Upper D« Moine* Thursday, April 15, 1965 I -I MR. .AM) MRS. Gordon Kuhn returned last week from Port Isabel, Tex. where they spent the winter. MR. AM) MRS. Vic Frideres were visited last week by the latter's brother Otis McKee, who has been with the Honeywell company at Minneapolis and was en- route to Virginia, near Washington, D. C. to enter a new job. MR. AND MRS. Henry Gudeiian plan to spend Easter at Waltham, Minn, and attend church with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Meril Bacon, Bonnie and Jeanie. MR. AND MRS. James St. John and Delyce accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Henry Guderian to Mason City last Sunday and visited Mrs. Guderian's sister, Mrs. Gladys Serhagl. MRS. W. A. Barry is home from Iowa City where she had surgery some time ago. She has made very good recovery. NORMAN PINGEL had as callers Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rotter man, Ledyard. MR. AND MRS. Richard Moe are moving May 1 to the Bjustrom house on Lucas street. It was formerly two apartments, but is now reconverted to a one- family place. MRS. GERTRUDE Fanlstirk has returned from thn west coast where slip spent HIP winter. Slip Ipft home Nov. 20 and visited hpr sun and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Faulstick, then went to Phoenix, Am., and visited the William Scotts, Glen Hutzels and Mrs. WillaniCurtis, former Algotian. January fi, her son Charles at Lincoln, Neb. announced the birth of a daughter. Mrs. Faulstick spent three weeks with them, then camp home for a week and a half, when she had a call from Wilfred that they had wired her a round-trip ticket as a valentine. She spent another week with Charles and family, taking the plane from there to San Francisco. After five weeks there, she returned to Lincoln. She was brought home by Charles and family ami Hugo Karlson, v/ho spent a week here. ROY HUTZELL and son Floyd attended a business meeting at Mason City Thursday evening. MR. AND MRS. Cecil McGinnis have returned from a three-week vacation in Florida. At the Keys they visited Mr. and Mrs. William Dau, at Sarasota they saw Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Sigsbee and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Carr, former Algonans, and at Clearwaterthey called on Mr. and Mrs. TedLar-. son and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Ogg. The Oggs are former Al- gonans who have lived at Hartley for some time.
