hosts for a cake cutting in ellowship Hall at Elmwood United Methodist Church riday night to en tertain their daughter Debra Lee her fiance Paul Lynn Isen hour and members of their wedding party The couple will be married in a 7 ceremony tonight at the Elmwood church with Rev Kiker of Harmony of ficiating Mr and Mrs rank Houpe welcomed guests at the door The hall was decorated with autumn flowers Record Landmark Page 7 A Are Instigating New Program Beginning at 7:30 pm Mon day Oct 2 a unique program is being initiated at Trinity Episcopal Church Mrs Allison president of the Churchwomen reports that this year women of the church and other interested women are going to explore together what it means to be a fully human woman Each month by means of panels and group discussion the focus will be on a different aspect of womanhood On Oct 2 the psychology of women will be considered from the point of a question: a per sonality something with which she is bom or is it culturally Mrs Thomas Brown program director will be assisting Mrs Howard Hur mence and Mrs William Mills in leading the discussion On Nov 6 the relationship of the church and women will be examined both from an histor ical and a contemporary point of view the image of women will be the topic for con sideration Scheduled for Jan 8 1973 is a film Up in which some of the influences upon a life will be pre sented eb 5 the role of women at home in childrearing and helpmate functions is to be studied and on March 5 the women will ponder the psychological and economic factors in outside employment Special problems of women will be investigated at the April 2 meeting The May 7th pro gram will consist of an analysis of the current responses women today Mrs Brown expressed the hope that all area women who find the subject
