He joined Ford in Indianapolis in 1947 and had numerous marketing assignments before transferring to Ford Central Office in Dearborn in 1961. Mr. Judd specialized in dealer training. He retired in 1992 as regional training manager for the Ford Parts and Service Division. He was active in community affairs and a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and the dad's clubs at Brother Rice and Marian high schools in Birmingham.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen Quill Judd; a daughter, Mar-yellen; a son, Gregory; and a sister. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today, with prayers at 7 p.m., in Lynch Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks, Clawson. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

Ford dealership in Detroit, died of congestive heart failure Friday, Oct. 28, 1994, in St. John Hospital, Detroit. He was 87. A Detroit native, he practiced law in Metro Detroit for 40 years and was licensed as a real estate broker and insurance agent.

During World War II, he founded and managed Steiner Machine Products, which produced precision airplane parts. In later years, Mr. Steiner became a developer of condominiums and mobile home parks. He retired in the mid-1980s. Mr.

Steiner lived in St. Clair Shores and was a life member of the Detroit Yacht Club and Lawyers Club of Ann Arbor. Other survivors include his wife, Janet Nelson Steiner; a third son, Alfred F. Steiner II; nine grandchil dren; a great-granddaughter; and a sister. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m.
