Grand Marshal Norcross in Oakland to-day and stated that the Executive Committee was very anxious to have a large delega- tion from this city take part in their celebration. It is proposed to make this one of the largest and finest affairs of the kind ever held. It is a remarkable fact that perfect harmony exists in San Francisco in relation to the celebration this year, and tte procession will be worthy of the occa sion ana me city. sir. norcross, Grand Marshal, evidently the right man in the right place.

He says that a delegation will go over from this city, he will guarantee that they will be cordially received and handsomely treated.
