Edna was the oldest living member of First Christian Church in Sesser. She was born Dec.26,1911, in Bert and Ora (Mitchell) Lucas. Edna married Matt Harle, and he preceded her in death Jan.29,1984.

Ruth is survived by two Huffstutler of Debbie (Rick) Hepp of Pinckneyville; nine and Larry and Fred and Tim and Debbie and John and Jamie and Susan Knott and Brad Chaney and Joshua Lambert; 16 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great- grandchildren; and Wilma Shoemaker of Centralia; and Emling of Du Quoin. Paul Perschbacher JOHNSTON CITY Paul passed away at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, April 19,2012, at his residence. Doc was born March 3, Johnston Louis and Lula (Felts) Perschbacher. He married Cleo Lawanda Perschbacher on Jan.11, Johnston City.They shared 63 years of marriage together before she preceded him in death Jan.2,2010. Doc was a veteran of the U.S.Navy.He served his country honorably aboard the USS Bowditch in the South Pacific Theater during World War II.

He was worked as a coal miner at Old Ben 21 Coal Mine for more than 20 years.He was also a carpenter for many years. He was of Christian faith and was a member of UMWA and a former member of Buccaneers Club in Johnston City. Doc was an avid fisherman and hunter.He also enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. Survivors include a son, Eric Perschbacher of West Frankfort; two brothers and Perschbacher and of Johnston Charlie and Johnston City; Lou Adamson of Harrisburg; two Ellen Taylor and Vanessa Thome and Johnston City; four nephews, Jerry Perschbacher of Johnston Perschbacher and of Lawrence and Johnston Mark Cook of and his beloved Jack Russell In addition to his was preceded in death by his parents; Perschbacher; and a Perschbacher.
