The Rev. Everett Lemay MOUNT VERNON The Rev.Everett C.Lemay,89, died at 8:21 a.m.Sunday, March 11, St. Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Logan Street Baptist Church in Mount Vernon with the Revs.Wendell Garrison, Jimmie Bledsoe and Phillip Auxier officiating.Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Mount Vernon.Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.today at the church.

He was born Mount Vernon to Charles and Gertrude (Denny) Lemay.He married Evelyn on Dec.6,1942,in Mount Vernon. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn of Mount Vernon; Lemay of New Lenox; Auxier of Carterville and Pat Enteman and husband Tom of Tyler, Texas; five grandchildren, Krista Auxier, Holly Hendricks and Clint Auxier; 11 and Lauren; Lemay of Price and husband Harold of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; three sisters; a son-in-law, Rick Auxier; and a grandson, Chad Enteman. All seven of Everett and pastorates have been in Illinois: Camp Ground, City (twice), Park and Kell. Their other ministries include eight interim pastorates; short-term volunteer foreign missions terms (New Morocco and Indonesia); six years as chaplain of Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice Group; chaplain of the Illinois Senate; Board of Directors of the Illinois Baptist State Association; and service on the executive committee of the Southern Baptist Convention.He served at Logan Street Baptist Church as associate pastor.

Viola Sayre CARBONDALE Viola Mae away at 4:40 a.m.Sunday,March Elms Nursing Home in Macomb. She was born Jan.24, Beardstown to Elton and Alma (Herring) Shute.She married Harry Jr.on May Beardstown.He preceded her in death May 2, 1972. Survivors include two Bagley of Carbondale and Brenda Sayre of Macomb; and a special was like a daughter to her. Viola worked as a artist for Shumate Photography and a retail salesperson for Montgomery of Beardstown.She and Harry moved to Macomb in 1948, where she later developed her own seamstress business and worked well into her 90s. Throughout the years, Viola provided individual child care to numerous fam- ilies.She was involved in PTA and served as a Girl Scout leader.She also taught summer swimming classes for the YMCA.

Viola was a member of Wesley United Methodist she taught Kindergarten Sunday School for more than 50 years.She also was a member of Macomb Club, Twiddlers and Elks Club, and she belonged to several bridge clubs and a canasta group. She had been a volunteer for McDonough District Hospital Auxiliary and at Elms Nursing Home. love of and animals brought her many hours of enjoyment.Those who know her remember her smile and caring ways and for seeing the best in people. Raymond Lucas ZEIGLER Raymond A. Carlinville, formerly of away at 2:50 p.m. Saturday, March 10, Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Carlinville. Raymond was born Nov.29,1918,in Harrisburg to Adam and Katie (Burbas) Lucas. He married Stephany Gaizauskas on Feb.15,1941, in Chicago.She preceded him in death Dec.29,2007.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Deanna S.and Stephen a of Carlinville; a J.Lucas of a granddaughter and her husband, Stephany and Jeffery March, and two great-grandsons, Dylan and Lucas of Columbia. He also was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Raymond A.Lucas and a sister and brother-in-law, Aldona and Glenn Roth. Mr.Lucas was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Zeigler.He was a Navy veteran of World War in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of Zeigler American Legion Patrick McClellan Post 177, Knights of Columbus 2164 and VFW in Herrin. Along with his wife, was the former co-owner and operator of in Zeigler.Later,Mr.Lucas was employed as a trouble shooter in restaurants and hotels for Holiday Inns and Days Inns throughout the country.

MARION James Joseph Holan of Linda Petty Holan and father of Gina Hostetler, James Holan Swiatkowski and Anthony his battle with heart disease Saturday, March died peacefully in Naples Fla. Services will be at 11 a.m. Blue Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev.Craig Hostetler and the Rev.Oral Lee Perry officiating. Military rights and burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. James was born March 19, son of James and Helen Holan and the older brother of John Frank Holan. He was a graduate of Bogan High School in Chicago and a graduate of Grear Technical Institute. James was a proud veteran of the Vietnam he served as a specialist in the 11th Armored Calvary Black Horse Regiment 1st Squadron Company.After being honorably discharged, he worked as a successful diesel mechanic and supervisor for BeMac Transportation in Chicago. He enjoyed life as a loving and faithful and grandfather.He relocated to Southern Illinois in 1988 and spent his later years serving God as a minister, licensed through Full Gospel Churches International.He volunteered his ministry service to the Marion VA Nursing well as various homeless shelters and churches in the Southern Illinois area.He resided in southwest Florida for the last year and a half. He was preceded in death by his and Helen Holan.

She was born Sept.25, daughter to Clyde and Irene (Kiehn) Creath.On April 30, married Benjamin D.Shute in Pinckneyville, and he preceded her in death July 30,2005. Ruth was a member of Beaucoup Baptist Church in Pinckneyville.She enjoyed shopping and dearly loved caring for and spending time with her family.

Survivors include one son, Bob (Patty) one (Terry) of Pinckneyville; two (Jackie) Jennings and Raymond Jones three and Nicholas Caplinger and Savanna Jones; Lowe of Coulterville; and special Gadow. Camryn Rose MURPHYSBORO Camryn Leena 18 days old, passed away Wednesday, March 7,2012, in Stormont- Vail Health- Care in Camryn Leena was born 12 weeks premature on Feb.18,2012,in Manhattan, just 2 pounds 9 ounces and measuring 15 inches long.She was the loving daughter of Craig Austin Rose and his LouAnn Garetson; they both survive of Manhattan.

Camryn loved the sound of her and voices.She was a fighter and had a fake cry that would melt heart.She loved being read and sang to.She had a way of winning over anyone she met; she made not only her the staff at the in love with her.Her smile lit up the one help but smile if she smiled. Among her parents, Camryn Leena is also survived by her maternal and April (Bitzer) Garetson of paternal and Cindy Rose of Murphysboro; her Rose of Murphysboro; one uncle, John Derek Garetson of and two great- Bitzer of Garden Mary Wright of Murphysboro. She was preceded in death by four great-grandfathers, Eugene Wright and Charles Rose; and two great- Garetson and Eva Jean Rose. Patricia Wingfield VALIER Patricia Ann (Lohman-Collins) Wingfield passed away 9, Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was born Dec.6,1932, in Sesser to Anna Victoria (Owens) and Glen Lohman.

She spent most of her childhood in Valier with her mother and Collins. She married George Eovaldi and together they had one daughter.She later married Sylvester Schneider and together they had four children.She then married James Wingfield, and he survives in Valier. Other survivors include her (Vincent) Zaranti of The (Keith) Dunlap of Springfield, Michael Schneider of St.Augustine,Fla.,Stephen (Susan) Schneider of St.Augustine,Fla.,and Ann Margaret Durham of Springfield; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather. Services will be at 2 p.m.

Conrad Jenkins DONGOLA Conrad Sunday, March Illinois Veterans Home in Anna. He was born Jan.7, son of Zenas and Grace (Dillow) Jenkins.He married Jean Millspaugh on Jan.6,1943.She preceded him in death April 26,2002.

Conrad served his country honorably in the Force during World War II. He was a member of Wally Byam Caravan Club International (Airstream). He worked as an electrician for many years out of Local 702 in West Frankfort. Survivors include his Smith of Murphysboro and Sharon Jenkins of Anna; four (Mia) Smith of De (Teri) Smith of (Jami) Smith of Carbondale and Ryan Hartwick of Chicago; one (Curtis) Reed-Baird of Carbondale; seven great- and Chase Smith of De and Zack Smith of Carterville, Ronnie Waldron of Carbondale and Corbin and Riley Baird of Carbondale; one great-granddaughter, Lauren Smith of Carterville; one Wisness; other relatives; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his and one Wisness.
