Linda was born Sept.29,1937,in Bush, to Ray and Cecil (Chapman) Shelton. She married James W. on Dec.24,1954,in Hurst.

Linda and Bill shared 54 years of marriage together before Bill preceded her in death on Oct.29,2009. Linda was been employed as a clerk with Bush Water Department for more than 30 years. She was a member of Royalton Apostolic Church. She was a 1955 graduate of Hurst-Bush High School. She enjoyed shopping, eating out and going to church.She was an avid St.Louis Cardinals fan.

Survivors include her three sons and daughters- Rev.Jim (Laura) Rutherford of (Joy) Rutherford of Fort Worth, David (Kim) Rutherford of Hurst; six (Jason) Hargrove of Rutherford of Fort Worth, Rutherford and Kayla Rutherford of Bush, Jason (Shaina) Rutherford of Herrin and Kaitlyn Rutherford of Hurst; one Tyler Hargrove of and brother and sister-in- (Norma) Shelton of Centralia.She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her was also greeted in heaven by her parents; a son, Thomas Rutherford; and a Brewer; and most Services will be at 11 a.m. Royalton Apostolic the Revs.Donald L.Maas,Jr., Jim Rutherford and Edward Bevis officiating.Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery.Visitation was Thursday at Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City. Vida Boyd MARION Vida L.Boyd, away peacefully with her daughters by her side at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan.29,2014, in the River to River Community of Marion, located east of Marion. She was born Saturday, March rural Johnson McKinney Chapel Church, northeast of daughter of Harvey Silvester and Ida (Ollis) Burns. Her working career was with Tempo Store of Marion, as a clerk and later worked at Marion Memorial Hospital for many years.

She was the last surviving charter member of First Apostolic Church of Marion. In her spare time she enjoyed reading her Bible and working word find books. She also found great enjoyment spending time with her family and keeping up on all the many activities they were involved with.The many memories that have been created will now be cherished by those she leaves behind. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, LaDonna Clyde Arnold of Darla Bruce Lowe of Marion; four Arnold and his Arnold of Lowe and his and Jonathan Lowe and his Puyallup, six Lowe, Macyn Lowe and Gage Lowe; sister, Imogene Moss of Marion; other extended family and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lola Holderfield and Allene Burroughs; and two brothers, Loy Burns and Ernie Burns.

Visitation for the family and friends will be from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m.Saturday, Feb.1,in Wilson- McReynolds Funeral Home at 900 N.Court Marion. Services will be at 2 p.m. the Revs. Ronald G.Walls and Steve Miller officiating.Interment will follow in McKinney Chapel Cemetery of Williamson Lake of Egypt. Survivors include wife, Betty J.McDaniel of Troy; (Gale) McDaniel of Murphysboro and Jack Devin McDaniel of daughters, Debra McDaniel of Granite (Michael) Meyer of Deronda Webb of Coffeen; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one McDaniel of Ava. She married Charles Mifflin in Raddle. He preceded her in death Feb.19,1997. Helen is survived by her Ann Catherine Legan and Gerald (Sara) Mifflin; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-stepgrandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her brothers, James L.Gale and Ernest Gale. Kenneth was born on Oct.21,1953, in Camp Kenneth Trotter and Wanda (Cochran) Trotter.

He served from 1972 to 1980 in the U.S.Marine Corp and in the U.S.Army for four years each.He was a member of Murphysboro VFW Post he had been Post Commander and Adjunct. Mr.Trotterretired as a correctional officer at Menard Penitentiary in Chester after 25 years of service. He loved to ride motorcycles and his hobby was working at the car wash. He married Susan Swayze on Oct.8,1976,in Peoria, and she survives. Other survivors include two sons and their wives, Robert and Melissa Swayze of Curt and Danielle Trotter of Pearland, Texas; and five Lexsey Swayze, all of Hayli Trotter and Chance Trotter of He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Pettett Funeral the Rev. Shaker Samuel officiating. After the services will be conducted at the funeral home by the American Legion Post 127, VFW Post 7190 and 2605, and the Jackson County DAV Chapter 69. She was born Dec.13, daughter of Taylor Harvey and Hessie (Bennett) Fluke. Joyce married Donald Lee Campbell on Aug.19,1952, and he preceded her in death Aug.10,1998. She was a licensed funeral director and embalmer and helped operate Campbell Funeral Home alongside her was a member of First Baptist Church in Carmi where she taught the Lydia Sunday School a 50-year member of Norris City Order of the Eastern Star and served as Past Worthy Legion Red Hatters. Mardell was born Sept.14, Perry, to Benjamin Willis and Myrtle Ann (Seaborn) Greiwe. She was united in marriage with C. Wayne Banks in September 1994 in Granite City.He preceded her in death Aug.25,2010.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas W.and Carol E. Banks of Carbondale; brother and and Mary Greiwe of Springfield; five (Courtney) (John) Stephenson all of Ava, Jennifer (Jason) Koch of (Sarah Newman) Banks of Tommy Banks of Fort five great- grandchildren, Trenton and Preston Koch and Parker Banks; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her first Folks; Greiwe; and her parents. Mardell worked in the finance department for Granite City Army Depot until her retirement. She was a loving wife, and great will be missed by many.
