Activity in Syntex diminished slightly and the stock advanced only 3 points, its narrowest move in many recent sessions. New Jersey Zinc added around 1V in the metals and Occidental Petroleum picked up a large fraction in the oils. Speed dry Chemical advanced around a point. True Temper picked up more than 1. Ayrshire Colleries dropped mors than 1 but Insurance Company of North America and International Stretch tacked on around i apiece.
