(929 South), died Sunday at 10:35 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital as a result of mercury poisoning. MRS. THALMAN, a Utah State seed analyst, had worked with mercury compounds since she became an analyst in 1947. Attending physicians said the mercury caused a liver ailment which caused her death.

BORN OCT. 9, 1914, in Boun tiful, she was a daughter of William and Caroline Christopherson Gunn. She was married to Harry J. Thalman Jan. 20, 1930, in Salt Lake City.

They were later divorced. Survivors include a son, Harry J. Thalman Jr. Salt Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. -Donald (Marjorie) DeYoung, Salt Lake City; Mrs.
