So far, however, most of the ducks and geese in Ohio are staying in and around Sandusky Bay and on a few of the inland lakes. In making a "recent survey of the waterfowl situation in Ohio, Delmar Handley, waterfowl biologist in the Ohio Division of Wildlife, estimated there were Deaths MRS. JAMES ELLIOTT Services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Elliott, 76, widow of James Elliott, will be held at 10:30 A. M.

Tuesday at Evans funeral home, with burial following in the Marshall cemetery. She was found dead Friday about 2:30 P. M. at her home in Marshall. Dr.

W. M. Hoyt, who was called, estimated that she had been dead since early Thursday. She lived alone. Neighbors had not seen her since last Wednesday.

When a neighbor, Mrs. Emma Chamblin, became alarmed about her, she entered the home Friday afternoon and found her lying on the floor of the kitchen. Mrs. Elliott had not picked up her mail either Thursday or Friday. She may have collapsed after fixing breakfast Thursday and while in the process of ironing in the kitchen, it was theorized.

An electrie iron was still on when she was discovered. She was born in Highland County, the daughter of George Washington and Rachel Ann Shaw Eakins. Her husband, James, died in 1945. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W.

M. Hottinger, Frankfort, and Mrs. Lawrence Stevenson, Martinsville; two sisters, Mrs. Mahlon Carmean of Dayton and Mrs. Charles Reno of Cincinnati; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

CHARLES M. RENNER Charles M. Renner, 31, of Dayton, died Saturday at 3:15 A. M. at Springfield City Hospital, following an illness only a few days.

The son of Clarence H. and Elizabeth McConnaughey Renner, he was born Aug. 23, 1925, in Wilmington. His mother is the former Elizabeth McConnaughey of Hillsboro. He had resided in Dayton for six years, where he was employed as sales manager of Universal Hardware and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Dayton.

He was graduated from Wittenberg College, Springfield, in 1949 and was affiliated with Beta Sigma Phi fraternity. Mr. Renner is survived by his widow, Mrs. Maxine H. Renner; one son, Douglas Gregg, his parents, and one brother, Robert Renner of Akron.

Police said George Culter, 73, South High Street, city, backed from the curb and hit a car driven west by Wirt Barrera, 17, John Street, city. The Cutler car then rolled back and hit the parked car of Carol Kratzer, 25, Elm Street, city. There was minor damage to the Barrera and Kratzer cars. ASK NEW SPEED LIMIT GEORGETOWN County commissioners have requested the state highway to reduce the speed limit on the Sardinia-Mowrystown Road to 45 miles an hour, both day and night, beeause of beavy travel and hazardous curves and bridges. TWO RENAMED GEORGETOWN- -Judge John H. Houston of the Brown County common court, has reappointed two members the Brown County Soldiers Relief Commission, John Parker of Fayetteville and Arnold Watson of Georgetown. FINDS MUSHROOM -A six and ter pound mushroom was found last week near Pike Lake State Park by Mrs. Frank Tackett, wife of the forest ranger there. The mushroom measured 18 and onehalf inches across the top.

According to Handley, there were 40 percent more waterfowl in Ohio last year on December 1 than this year. Lillie Morgan, who died Sunday about 7 P. at her home at 101 South West. following a long illness, will be held Wednesday at 2 P. at the Evans funeral home with Rev. John Carson officiating and burial 1 following in Hillsboro cemetery.

She was born in Hillsboro, the daughter of Wesley and Margaret Thompson Copes. She had resided here all her life. The family residence and business properties at the corner of South West and West Main Street have been known as Copes Corner for years. She was the widow of V. E.

Morgan. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Hilliard, Miss Violet Morgan (local historian) and Mrs. Mabel Wheelen, all of Hillsboro; two sons, Ellsworth (Bud) and Roy Morgan, both of Hillsboro; five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
