Field Dug Up In Oakland Acting on information supplied by an underworld informer, a task force "directed by state Attorney General Frank J. Kelley Saturday searched in vain through a 29-acre field in Oakland County for the body of James R. Hoffa.

The task force, using a power-driven backhoe digging machine, dug four holes in the field Saturday but found no clue to Hoffa's disappearance. AS THE DIGGING ended at nightfall Saturday, Kelley said that professional police search teams would return to the field Sunday at first light and "go over the entire area, every square foot." The search the most intensive since the ex-Teamster president disappeared July 30 was launched after investigators for a U.S. Senate committee chaired by Sen. Henry Jackson, told Kelley they had information that might lead to Hoffa's grave. Jackson is a Democratic presidential candidate, and Kelley Is his Michigan campaign manager.

Kelley flew from Charlevoix toPontiac at 3 a.m. Saturday to take charge of the search. More than 25 state police detectives, crime lab technicians and patrol officers involved. The attorney general said Saturday night, "we were told (by the informer) that the grave was prepared the day before or the night before" Hoffa disappeared. KELLEY SAID the grave was supposed to be six feet deep.

"With a body six feet down, it's very difficult to use dogs, for example," Kelley said. "It's a very difficult situation we've got 29 acres here." The search site is partly covered by brush and trees, at the northeast corner of Williams Lake and Elizabeth Lake Roads in Waterford Township. My 'PIZZA' IS 1 ILLEGALLY PARKED? 1 Neiv Divorce Law Strips Hubby Clean OKLAHOMA CITY (UPI) An Oklahoma divorce law that takes effect Wednesday gives a wife all of a couple's property, even hubby's socks and pipe. "I sure as heck didn't mean to give all my cows to my wife" in the unlikely event of a divorce, said State, Sen. John Young, a country lawyer who authored the law. He said he just wanted a woman to have the right to regain her maiden name after a divorce. Opponents claim that the new law will result in chaos if the state Supreme Court doesn't declare it unconstitutional.

Gov. David Boren was asked by a co-author of the law to call a special session of the Legislature to repeal it. Boren said he would wait for a legal opinion. Young's measure was passed without close scrutiny in the closing hours of the 1975 Legislature. "It's the only thing." Wrong, Vince. There is also losing. Just ask the Detroit Warriors, the local semi-professional football team. Last Sunday the Warriors, most of them factory workers at the Ford Woodhaven Stamping Plant, sallied forth to the hill country of West Virginia to play a pro team there known as the Ohio Valley Panthers. They lost 102-0, eclipsing what their owner claims is the nrevious all-time record professional loss, set by the Ham-tramck Chargers in 1970 at 93-0.

"Everybody cannot be a winner," explains Warrior owner John Gasparetto. "I've been a doormat ever since I got into football. But look at it another way how can anyone win unless there is somebody to lose to them?" 1 The Detroit Warriors lost just about everything that fateful Sunday in Wheeling, W.Va., when they fell 102-0. THEY LOST THE toss. They lost the game.

They nearly lost one of their bus drivers. 1 Their reserve driver was accidentaly left at a Toledo truck stop where they stopped for gas on the way to the game. In a daring high-speed chase that may have been the outstanding play of the day, an independent trucker was able to chase the team bus down the freeway and reunite the driver with the team. It was the only connection the Warriors made all day. After only two minutes of play, they were behind 21-0 and the Panthers' offensive team had not yet touched the ball.
