The services are characterized by gospel and chorus singing, and evangelistic preaching. Rev. Christman, pastor of the church, will preach on the following sermon themes: Wednesday, "Turn and Live." Thursday, "Hiding from God." "Temptation and Sin." Saturday, "What Is the Meaning of Being Born Again." On Sunday evening, in connection with the World- Wide Communion observance, Rev, Christman will speak on the subject, "The Sacrament, a Means of Grace." Michael DeBatto of Drums, were married Saturday morning, September 22nd, at 11 o'clock, at Anthony's church, Freeland. Rev. J. Betetti officiated. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin, with a lace bustle and yoke, long sleeves, trimmed with silver lace, a seven-yard train, three-quarter length veil, falling from a crystal and pearl crown.

Miss Amelia M. Amentler, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and wore a gown of yellow chiffon, floral design with a yellow dutch hat, and carried a bouquet of pink roses and pompons with baby breath. Cpl. George Dutz, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. The bridesmaid was Elaine P.
