She will conduct a seminar for YW board and staff members and will address various groups witnin the organization Members will donate gifts to the World Fellowship fund during the week, according to Mrs Schweitzer.

THE AMERICAN YW has re cently sent 13 advisory secretaries to nine countries, Mrs Schweitzer reported. Additional workers will go to Italy, Mexico. Siam and Korea this fall. They will make a total of 31 Ameri cans in 16 overseas countries. Among the American YW staff now abroad are three who have worked In Detroit: Elmina Lucke, who is now in India; Sue Stille, in Germany, and Margaret Ping, In Mexico.

Miss Lucke is directing a social service training school in Lucknow, India, that has in its classrooms- Hindus, Christians and Sikhs. Miss Stille's work in Germany has been mainly with groups of displaced persons. She has assisted in reuniting families, providing handicraft materials for use in camp, and aiding In vocational training programs. The Mexico City YW where Miss Ping works has been a trail-blazer in the field of public health. It established the first pre-school clinic in the country and now concentrates on cooking and nutrition lessons.

Council Session Is Postponed Regular meeting of the Women's International Education Council, set for Nov. 6, will not be held in Detroit, since the group is co-operating in sponsoring the 18th annual Parent Education Institute at Ann Arbor. The institute is slated for Nov. 5 and 6 at the University of Michigan. It is sponsored by the University Extension Service, the Michigan P-TA Congress, the AAUW, the League of Women Voters, the Michigan Women's Action Committee for Lasting Peace, the World Study Council and the Foreign Policy Association of Detroit.

Highland Parkers Slate Dr. Walker International Lecturer Dr. Kenneth Walker will address the Highland Park Woman's Club at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the McGregor Library.

Dr. Walker will tell of his experiences in Germany, where he Interviewed Hitler and later was associated with the underground, In Hawaii and in this Country.
