DETROIT FREE PRESS FriHv, 12, 1953 RITES IN LAKESHORE CHURCH Janey Fisher Is Married To Mr. Lufkin 1 Xi-' 'vH Janey Briggs Fisher, descendant of two of the City's great automotive families, became Mrs. Thomas Murray Lufkin in 11:30 o'clock Thursday rites. The Most Rev. Allen J.

Mrs. Fisher chose for her daughter's wedding a gown of light blue silk shantung, printed in a small figure. It was street length, made with a square neckline, short sleeves and full skirt. Her small light blue straw hat was wreathed in blue felt flowers interspersed with pearls and brilliants. She wore a corsage of blue pansies.

The bride's grandmother, Mrs. Walter O. Briggs, was in navy printed with a white shell pattern, and a small white hat. Following the ceremony the Fishers were hosts at a reception In their Lake Court home. Later Mr.

and Mrs. Lufkin left by plane for Denver, where they will spend a few days before going on to Sheridan, where they will make their home. For traveling Mrs. Lufkin donned a sheer gray wool tailored suit and a "white hat. She wore the white orchid corsage from her bouquet.
