While employed in a large office I decided to look for a new position. I answered a most attractive ad, ending my application to the post-office box given. On three move them backward, and on count four sharply downward. Another good way to relax the shoulders completely and to develop beauty of contour is to lie on the floor with the feet planted firmly about a foot apart. Raise the hips off the floor with the weight on the shoulder region. Then wriggle and twist and give the shoulder blades a good, massage on the floor. Best and repeat.

Any reaching or stretching movement is good for the shoulder line. Swimming is ideal because it builds up the health at the same time that it exercises the muscles. In fact, all outdoor exercises rowing, tennis, golf are splendid for training shoulders into beautiful lines. ANSWERS TO BEAUTY QUESTIONS A. Shave two one-ounce cakes of camphor gum as fine as you can and add to a quart of rubbing alcohol.

Let stand for 24 hours to give camphor a chance to dissolve. Pat on once or twice a day. You may have to use cream to combat dryness after using this. MRS. H.

Tou would be interested, I am sure, in seeing a copy of our leaflet B-23, "How to Gain Weight." It contains suggestions about rest periods, exercise, food, etc. all factors that have a bearing on the weight-gaining business. There are approximately 123,000 Roman Catholic nuns in the United States. insurance PoskJ bj Norm Shearer them la to build up the health, eat plain nourishing food which is easily digested, and eat it slowly and chew it thoroughly. Milk is an Ideal food, of course, and should be included three times a day in such a building-up program.

Undernourishment is responsible for loss of muscular development, and It in turn brings poor carriage. A noted authority on the development of the feminine figure says that nine out of every 10 young women stand and walk with shoulders curved forward, rounding the back, hollowing the chest and causing shoulder blades to jut out in unsightly wings. Shoulders too thickly padded with flesh make one look dowdy and ruin the fit of clothes. This case calls for subduing the appetite for fattening foods. Strenuous exercises and massage are needed, too.

It Is most important to learn how to carry the shoulders correctly. If they droop forward habitually one looks dejected. On the other hand, holding them rigid is not only unbecoming but bad for the health. Many an ache and pain across the neck comes from this very fault. To express style, poise and ease, shoulders must have freedom.

They should move along easily and gracefully with the rest of the body. Simple shoulder shrugging seems to free them of stiffness and -make them feel light. Shrug first one, then the other, then both. Or you can make an exercise of shrugging. Stand erect.

On count one move them as far forward as you can By SALLY DAGUE sweater is finished and ready to wear.
