Mr. Haussner was born in Marlette, where he was graduated from high school. He later attended Albion College and Wayne University, receiving his masters degree Heussner from the University of Wisconsin and his doctor of philosophy degree from the University of Michigan. A MATERIALS engineer for the Chrysler he was credited with solving the nickel shortage during a crisis in the manufacture of the atomic bomb, a spokesman said. Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Ovaitt, and three brothers, Alex, George and Martin, of Marlette.

Cody, 71, mother of Probate Judge William J. Cody, will be held at 1 p. m. Wednesday at the St. George Syrian Orthodox Church.

Mrs. Cody, of 237 Gerald, Highland Park, died Monday in Battle Creek Sanatorium. A native of Syria, ehe had been a local resident 29 years. She also is survived by a daughter, Mary; a brother, and three sisters. Burial will be at Wood-lawn Cemetery.

MRS. IDA GORELICK Services for Mrs. Gorelick, 63, of 18289 Kentucky, who died Tuesday, will be at noon Wednesday at the Ira Kaufman chapel. Burial will be at Tu rover Cemetery. Born in Russia, Mrs.

Gorelick had been a Detroit resident 26 years. She was a member of the Detroit auxiliary of the Los An geles Sanatarium, and the Turover and Leahevitcher Vereins. Surviving are her husband, Jacob; two sons, Dr. Martin J. and Sidney; two daughters, Mrs.

Louis Stillman and Mrs. Philip Kramer, and four brothers. GEORGE B. OEHM A veteran Birmingham real estate dealer. Mr.

Oehm, 60, died Monday at his home, 452 Park, Birmingham. He was a graduate of the Baltimore (Md.) School of Law. Surviving are his wife, Myrl, and a sister. Services will be held at 11 a. m.

Thursday in the Bell Funeral Home, Birmingham. MRS. AUGUSTA DeFOREST A resident of Detroit for 75 years, Mrs. DeForest, 91, of 1638 N. Ferdinand, died Monday at her home.

Services will be at 2:30 p. m. Thursday at the R. G. and G.

R. Harris Funeral Home. Burial will be in WToodmere Cemetery. Mrs. DeForest is survived by two sons, Ralph assistant general manager of the New York Central System's Detroit office, and Roy of Chicago; a daugh ter, Mrs.

Burrill is survived by his wife, Agnes; seven sons, Harold, Norman, Jack, Roland, Leslie, Fred and Clifford; two oaughters, Olive and Dame, and a sister. MRS. EDITH MAE MULLER Active in the Redford Child Study Club and St. Timothy Episcopal Church, Mrs. Muller, 43, died Tuesday in New Grace Hospital.

A native of Calumet, Mrs. Muller had lived in Detroit for 11 years at 15736 Archdale with her husband, Vernon, a civilian employe with the United States Corps of Engineers. A son, Thomas, also survives. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Schmalzriedt Sons Funeral Home.
