TEAM Washington grade school varsity basketball team completed its 1947-1948 season Friday barely nosing out a Grants Pass five, 18 to 17. It has won 10 games and lost two to the seventh grade of the local junior high, and won the local grade loop basketball crown. The Riverside grade school started the scoring but the locals came back and took the lead and at the half lead 8 to 5. In the second half Washington found the range and forged a head to a 10 point lead.
