and Mrs. George Watson and the guests of honor. The traditional golden wedding cake was cut and served during the afternoon to a num of Klamath Falls at a quiet ceremony at St. Mark's Episcopal church May 4. The service was read at 12:30 o'clock noon by the Rev.

George R. Turney, rector, assisted by the Rev. John J. Hancock. Only immediate members of the families were present.

She is a sophomore at the university. Her fiance, a navy veteran, is a sophomore at Oregon State college. The wedding has been set for August and next fall both plan to attend Oregon state college.

Mrs. Thurston Spends Week-End With Daughter Among mothers of University of Oregon students spending the week-end at Eugene is Mrs. Charles H. Thurston, 1025 West Ninth street, who is visit-' ing with her daughter, Charlene. for a buffet luncheon after the ceremony.
