annual Georgia Invitational Basketball Tournament at Samuel Archer gymnasium on the Morehouse In winning Morehouse moves into semi final round against ort Valley at 7:30 pm in the second game At 6 pm Albany State two time winner of the tourney hits the floor for the first time versus Savannah State Morehouse in the final game Thursday night literally blew Paine College right out of the gym The final 91 78 score is lop sided but Paine evidently set a tourney record The Lions were hot as frying pan in the first half getting two to three shots at the basket With 14 minutes to go in the contest Paine led 60 50 and score another point until four minutes remained During this unbelievable 11 minute relapse Morehouse began reeling off points and the total complexion of the game changed The Sewanee Tigers to town Thursday night to play Georgia State and went home with a 56 49 loss as the Panthers captured their first win and Sewanee dropped its second straight Davalos was dejected after the loss but said he given up on his team State started in a zone against us and we should have torn it up but we just make a said the Sewanee1 coach mean if making your shots you look great but if
