another Early In the second Auburn moved from its S3 to the SU three In seven plays but Tubbs fumbled on third down to give over the ball when Jacobs recovered 33 yard run was the big splash in this drive placing the ball on the SU eight A subsequent 29 yard kick gave Auburn the ball on the SU 32 and in six plays Jarhes was over from the one reeman made his finest play of the game in this drive Badly trapped far behind the line he wriggled him self loose and made a jump pass of 26 yards to Pyburn at the SU four A short while later Pyburn caught his 65 yard scoring pass PYBURN set second touchdown with a fine running catch of a reeman pass for 26 yards to the SU 4 He caught a reeman pass in the flat and converted it into a 65 yard scoring play for the third score His defensive play stood out especially in the matter of rushing SU quarterbacks of whom four were used almost in discriminately James raced 37 yards off tackle on a handoff for the fourth tally and had a big hand in Auburn's 48 yard drive to its fifth score late in the final period Early in the second James ran S3 yards to the SU eight but a third down fumble by Howell Tubbs which Jerry Jacobs recovered on the SU two nulli fied the scoring chance SU threatened only late in the when freshman back Buddy Reynolds broke off tackle and raced 53 yards to the Auburn eight but then the Tiger forwards were equal to the
