In Repeat Win Over Marion Redstone Junior High cagers reported an earlier win over Marion Juniors at Republic yesterday as- a first lead held up for a 35-30 victory. In the first game between the two rivals Redstone won in the last 10 seconds. Yesterday, however, Redstone took an 11-10 first quarter lead and jurrioed it to 21-15 at the half. A Marion rally in the third quarter wasn't quite enough.

George Nucci hit for i markers to pace the Marion attack while Joe Ercegovich a seven for second top honors both took a back seat to "Deadeye" Brown of Redstone who canned 15 points on six fielders and three free throws. Marion sank 12 of 25 free throws to 9 of 25 for the winners but the Little Hawks had four more field goals then Coach Harry Muckle's locals. Next start for Marion is at Ellsworth Thursday afternoon. Dodgers Step Closer to Use Of Rose Bowl LOS ANGELES (UP)-- The Los Angeles Dodgers today moved a step closer to possible use of the Pasadena's world-famous Rose Bowl as a temporary home until they can build their own baseball stadium.

The Board of Directors of the neighboring city voted 6-1 late Tuesday, day to authorize their city manager to into negotiations with the Dodgers on possible use of the stadium. The vote drew the quick response of spokesman A (Red) Patterson that "the Lc- An- goles Dodgers are pleased with the action of the Pasadena Board of Directors in extending the hospitality of their Rose Bowl." He said Dodger President Walter O'Malley would hold a meeting with Pasadena City Manager Don C. McMillan to "arrange the procedure of negotiations." Construction of the club's own stadium is being delayed by a referendum election against a contract between the Dodgers and the city of Los Angeles for use of Chc- vez Ravine as a site.
