Maid of Honor Maid of honor was Irene sister of the bridegroom, -who wore, a floor length gown of -pink with a matching headpiece. A haze of nylon tulle tiers and lace ruffles gave the skirt a bouffant appearance. Her flowers were a cascade of dark carnations with pink streamers.

Bridesmaid was Rosemary Ba- of Erie, a cousin of the bride. She wore a gown and headpiece dentical to that of the maid of honor only in blue. She carried a cascade of pale pink carnations with pale pale pink streamers. Best man was Edward Stark, of Charleroi and usher was Victor Drahobecky, friends of the bridegroom. The mother of the bride wore a light blue lace dress with blue ac- and a pink carnation pink accessories and pink carnations.

The bridegroom's grandmother, Mrs. Amelia Vivian, wore a black flowered dress with, black accessories and pink carnations. A wedding breakfast was served at the Onda home after the nuptial high mass and a dinner was served at the Soicol Hall followed by a reception there for about 250 relatives and friends. A four tiered wedding cake centered the bridal table and the hall was deocrated in pink and blue. Guests were present from Florida, Jackson, Erie, Philadelphia, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and area towns.

When the couple left a Mor- Ida honeymoon the bride was wearing a blue and white striped dress with a white picture hat, white accessories and an orchid corsage. Upon their return, Mr. and Mrs, Vivian will reside in their newly furnished apartment, 553 Chestnut Ave. The bride was graduated from Monessen High School and is employed at Wilson Optical Co, in Charleroi. Her husband was graduated from Monessen Vocational School and served four years in the air force.

He is presently employed at the Pittsburgh Steel Co. Both the bride and bridegroom presented their attendants and each gifts. Board Meeting Held by State, Federation i At the June meeting of th Board of the Pennsylvania Fcder tibtt of Women's Clubs, held in the Perm Harris Hotel, Harrisburg the Board voted to sponsor the "Water Conservation Pro gram" In Pennsylvania. This action was taken in response to a request from the General Federa tion of Women's Clubs. At the same meeting three members of the nominating com mittee were elected.

They are Mrs. William.A. Leech, Pitts burgh, chairman; MBS, Walte: F. Wilmarth, Kingsley and Mrs William A. Kurtz.

Lebanon, elected were Mrs Kataryn Eareckson. Chairman Moscow; Russell Hogc- land. Wayne and Mrs. George Candler, Sharon. District members of the nominating committee were elected at district meetings held at the convention.

April, 1957 in Fhiladel phia. This committee will meet et the call of the chairman to select the slate for the election to be held the convention June, 1958 in Harrisburg. Of immediate interest Is the an nouncement of the Summer Institute sponsored by the, Pennsylvania State University and the Pennsylvania Federation of Womens Clubs to be held at University Park, July 31 to August 2, This Institute has been planned by the Department Education, Mrs. William A. Leech, chairman and the Department of International Affairs.

Mrs. Kathryn Eareckson, chairman. Outstanding speakers have been obtained for the panels and workshops and Hie Institute is open to all mem bers of the Federation. Registrations will close as of July 10th. Mrs.

Perman is Hostess to Red Rose Club Mrs. Berry Pernian, president of the Hed Rose Club, was hostess to the group at her home on Saturday evening and was in charge of the business session. Mrs. James Pennington gave the opening prayer. Plans were made for a birthday party to be held at the next meeting, which will be held at the City Park if the weather permits or at the Perman home.
