14 Capital Journal, Salem, Wednesday, Feb. 21, 1951 1 Official Schedule Western International Baseball League -1951 Senators to Open April 20; 71 Home Games Scheduled The Salem Senator! will stage 71 games at Waters park and will play 72 on the road, during the Western International league season, according to the official schedule that was released Wednesday. The season will open here April 20 against the Tri-City Braves who will remain at Waters park through April 22. The Victoria Athletics will follow April 24 for a three night stand, while the Tacoma Tigers will fill out the balance of the week. Each of the seven league clubs will make three appearances at Waters park before the close of the season in late August.

The Senators draw one holiday doubleheader, Decoration day, nd will play in Tacoma July 4. The Senators, in charge of Manager Hugh Luby, will train at Napa, opening camp there late next month.
