Yarnall and others aie about organizing a lodge of Good Templars in the borough. The offensive odor arising from soap boiling will no longer pregnate the atmospheie of South Chester, Council having issued orders abolishing soap-boiling establishments. This borough is sadly in need of lamps on Third and Second streets. The Sunday school connected with tfce Baptist church propose giving an entertainment of tableaux, declamations, iu the church on Friday evening, December 14th. It is the intention of the School Board at Seventh and Lamokiu streets, in the spring.

Should the borough Council succeed in effecting an exchange of property with the School Board, then the former" body will erect a handsome building for council chamber and lock-up. Our building inspector does not charge for a permit for a building for manufacturing purposes.
