A The new substitution rule In my opinion represents biggest change Exactly what does change accomplish? A It allows a player to enter the game eight times How does that' differ from last substitution rule? A Now any player is eligible to re enter once during any pe riod from which he was with drawn Last year only the players who started a quarter had that privUedge How much do you figure this substituting? A About 25 per cent Do you consider the "one blocking rule a major change? A Basically it is although it is merely a pointing up and strengthening of the old block ing rule say it will prompt officials coaches and players to become more con scious erf use of arms and hands especially on forward pass protection plays Do you expect a great deal more penalties to be called be cause of this rule? A Perhaps for the first two Saturdays It certainly is a rule to which all concerned can Ad just Wera there any other rules changes A Some minor ones The ball will be placed down on the three yard line Instead of the two for PAT attempts Time outs have been reduced from 5 to 4 because of the loosening in substitution rules and on un touched out of bounds kickoffs the receiving team will have the option of taking the ball where it went out of bounds or making the kicking team kick over five yards behind the point of the previous kick' Will officials be concerned with the rules change in scoring points after touchdowns A No The point after play is only another scrimmage play for us regardless of whether the offensive team kicks for one point or runs or passes for 'two SIMON PURES AIM OR ATLANTA TITLE Pierce Leads Expected ield of 125 In Quest of Dahlbender's Golf Crown By JOHN WOODWARD McIntyre Again Don McIntyre will face red Blassie riday night in the fea ture mat attraction at City Audi toruim It will be a one fall one hour time limit bout with no ref eree In the semifinal the Skull faces Ray Gunkel The Skull has an nounced he will remove his mask if he is the loser i ree Lifetime Guarantee stajat brake adjustment with EACH MULER INSTALLATION I YOU BRING THIS AD clal sections strip Steel Sheet cold or hot rolled black galvanized Palntlok Expanded Metal of all type Steel Plate sheared or univer al floor plates WAREHOUSE DIVISION Atlantic Steel Company 14th St at Northside Drive NW ATLANTA TR 5 3441 8 I K4 I I I I lz i IH 1 i I bMesigiiiers I work with I tel IH I HH I Bl MB i 9HI jMB sSB HH MB gMa i 8 III I UK iij Y' y1 few Ws I Sir BB Hl 4 I 4r3L I aA i I.
