HINTED THAT MAHONINGTOWN FOREIGNERS WILL FIGHT BLACK HAND SOCIETY THE GREATEST SALE Saturday mi Monday, March 16th and 18th Italians of the Seventh ward are still banding together to protect themselves from any outbreak that may be made by members, or friends of the supposed "Black Hand" leaders who were arrested several days ago here. A restlessness is noticeable among the Italian residents of the ward and It is feared that threats made by the leaders of the society may be fulfilled by their followers who are said to be still working in the ward. The man who so neatly drew the leaders into the trap which caused their arrest is vigorously working among his countrymen and is said may start a campaign against the society in this county.

A. Jr. team in a hotly contested game at Jones' rink in Liberty street last night by the score of 31 to 8. The game was fast from the start but by clever playing and much better team work the Mahoning bunch rang up 20 points in the last half. A large crowd witnessed the game and were highly pleased with the showing made by the boys.

Mrs. O'Brien was GS years old and was born in Ireland. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Scott and came to America when young.

She had been a resident of New Castle for the last 45 year3 and had lived all that time in the same place, never moving from Front street, a locality to which she become deeply attached. All her life she remained a devout adherent of the faith in which she was reared and she took an active interest in St. Mary's congregation of which, as stated, she was one of the original members.
