miner, died 'Tuesday in Coaldale Hospital. Born in Nesquehoning, he was a son of the late Frank and Frances (Bokeko) Paul. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church, Nesquehoning. Surviving are his wife, the former Myrtle Colby; two sons, Raymond, Emerald; John, at home; five daughters, Karen, Slatington; Sylvia, Nesquehoning; Darlene, Marlene and Tammy, at home; two brothers and three sisters: Angelo, Lansford; Frank, Nesquehoning; Mrs.

George (Frances) Resetar, Jim Thorpe; Mrs. Joseph (Josephine) DeMarco and Mrs. Anthony (Antoinette) Pondish, Nesquehoning; and seven grandchildren. The funeral will be held today at 9 a.m. from the Sniscak Funeral Home, Nesquehoning, with continued services in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Nesquehoning.

GEORGE M. RACOSKY George M. Racosky, who resided with his sister, Mrs. Helen Sissock, 556 W. Maple died at 3:45 a.m.

yesterday at the State General Hospital where he had been admitted Tuesday. Born in Hazle Brook, a son of the late Martin and Susan (Chulka) Racosky, he had resided in this city for 32 years. He was a retired miner and had last been employed as sexton at Holy Trinity R.C. Slovak Church. The deceased was a member of Holy Trinity R.C.

Church. He was preceded in death by these brothers and sisters, Joseph Sr. and John Racosky, Mrs. Mary Nemchick, Mrs. Anna Kadelak and Mrs.

Elizabeth Randar-Turick. Surviving are a brother and three sisters, Michael, Bethlehem; Mrs. Michael (Agnes) Hentosh, Delano; Mrs. Helen Sissock, with whom he resided; and Mrs. John (Ethel) Mauch, McAdoo.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Pusti Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Holy Trinity R.C. Slovak Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

The rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. MYLES GALLAGHER Myles Gallagher, Bcnyo Grove Apartments, East Butler, died Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. at the State General Hospital. Born in Freeland, a son of Myles and Mary (Boyle) Gallagher, he had resided in the North Side area his entire life. The deceased was a member of St.

Ann's R.C. Freeland, and the parish Holy Name Society. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Surviving are three brothers, Joseph, Jersey City, N.J.; John and Paul, Freeland; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Simon, Elizabeth, N.J.

The funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the McGraw Funeral Home, Freeland, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Ann's Church, Freeland. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call today from 2 p.m.

Anna M. Danshaw, 83, of 247 E. Ridge Lansford, died Tuesday in Coaldale Hospital. Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Yevchak. She was a member of St.

Michael's R.C. Church, Lansford. Her husband, Wash Danshaw was killed in a coal mining accident in 1936. Surviving are two sons, William Allentown; John, Ellsworth; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Harahus and Susan, Binghamton, N.Y.; Mrs.

Ella Kowatch, Lansford; a half- brother, Joseph Maruschak, Ros coe, N.Y.; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Skrabak Funeral Home, 210 E. Bertsch Lansford, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St.

Knies, 84, of Albert, died at 2 a.m. yesterday at the Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes- Barre where she had been a patient since Nov. 28. Born in Albert, March 26, 1890, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Mary Jane (Spajde) Knies. The deceased was a member of St.

Paul's Lutheran Church, Albert. Surviving are two brothers, Ash-er, of Albert; and Walter, Slocum. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the family residence with the Rev. Leonard Ashford, pastor of St.

Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Albert Cemetery. Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. JOHN ANDREJCO John (Bebe) Andrejco, 101 Berwick Beaver Meadows, died Tuesday at 11:15 p.m. at the State General Hospital where he had been a patient two days.

Born in Beaver Meadows, he was a son of the late George and Anna (Bobal) Andrejco. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the Haddock Mining Co. He had served with the Army's 3359th Quartermaster Truck Co. during World War Two, The deceased was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul's Byzantine Rite Catholic Church, Beaver Mea dows.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew. Surviving are these brothers and sisters: Michael, at home; Arthur, Weatherly; Joseph, Bethlehem; George and Mrs. Robert (Olga) Barcasky, Levittown; and Mrs. Anthony (Anna) Basile, Metuchen. N.J.; and several nieces and nep hews.

The funeral will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home, Second St. en trance, with requiem high mass at 11 o'clock in Ss. Peter and Paul B.C.

Cassion Yuhas, a Passionist missionary priest, died early Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital, follow ing a brief illness. Born in Tresckow, she was the former Betty Alasko, daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Fedor) Alasko, and spent the greater part of her life in this city.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where her late husband served as sexton for more than 20 years, and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Ladies' Catholic Club of that parish. She assisted the Byzantine Catholic Franciscan Fathers of Sybertsville in establishing the first monastery in Northeastern Pennsylvania. She conducted pilgrimages for more than 40 years to the national shrine of St. Anne, Scranton, as well as other shrines throughout the United States and Canada.

She was active in Democratic party politics in this city and Luzerne County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam, in 1957, and a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Marie) Pridmore, in 1974. Surviving are the following children: William A. Yuhas, Edward and Mrs.

William (Betty) Tunnes-sen, all of this city; Mrs. Michael (Anna) Tomsho, Baltimore, John of Philadelphia; Joseph and Cyril, both of this city; Mrs. George (Bernadette) Oslovich, of Chicago, 111., and the priest-son, the Rev. Cassion J. Yuhas, of St.

Michael's Monastery, Union City, N.J., 33 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Susan Dzurishin of Tresckow. The funeral will be held from the Burcin Home for Funerals, 305 E. Beech at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St.

Freeland Man Dies While Driving Car A 76-year-old Freeland man suf fered a heart attack while driving his car in Freeland at 1:45 a.m. yesterday and was pronounced dead on arrival at Hazleton State General Hospital one half-hour later.

Pronounced dead was Joseph F. Gallagher, 118 Centre Freeland. State police at Troop said- Gallagher was driving south on Route 940 when he suffered a heart attack and lost control of the vehicle which swerved off the highway and slammed into a parked truck on the east berm, 528 feet south of Freeland Borough. He was taken in the Freeland ambulance to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. He was born in Freeland, a son of the late James M.

and Anna O'Donnell Gallagher and lived there all his life. He was a member of St. Ann's Church, was a retired grocer and was a zoning officer in Foster Township. He was also a member of the Freeland Kennel Club. Surviving are his wife, the for mer Julia McGarey; a daughter, Mrs.
