was a produce manager for Krogers for 32 years, and a Veteran of WW II. Send condolences at VOGEL ROSS EUGENE On Saturday, April 26, 2008, Mr. Vogel died quietly at his home in Ross Twp. Born January 10, 1928, he was the son of Agnes Hammer. Ross was a graduate of Allegheny High School, where he was an accomplished trombonist and member of the football team.

Mr. Vogel enlisted in 1945, joining the Navy, where he served aboard the USS Eldorado. After being honorably discharged from the Navy he married his sweetheart Andriana Murlis on April 19, 1952. He worked at NAPCO, formerly located on the North Side, Carlson Mfg in Carnegie and Harden Mfg in Butler. A skilled engineer, his drafting and creative abilities aided him in the design of machines, which assisted other manufacturing companies.

His design abilities were often called upon by PPG Industries. Mr. Vogel was instrumental in the early development of tanks used for the farm raising of catfish; in addition, he was involved in the design and construction of the Pilot House Restaurant. He retired in 1993, but continued to work part-time until the age of 79. He is survived by his wife Andriana Vogel his children Carolyn (George Nowack, William A.

Vogel, and Ross E. Vogel, Jr. A grandson Ross Vogel, I and great-grandson Ross Vogel, II and sisters Lois Casey and Agnes Vogel. Mr. Vogel will be interred at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Viola was born on January 5, 1914 in Allison Park, PA to parents John William and Mary Ann Park (McIntyre) Bardoner and was a life long resident of Hampton Twp.

Viola dedicated her life to her family, her church and community and was an active member in each for many years. She was a life long member of the Allison Park Community Church which later became the Parkwood United Presbyterian Church, where she served with energy and devotion as a deacon, and elder and many other capacities for over 70 years. As a senior she worked for many years in the Admissions Office of Passavant Hospital, retiring at age 80. Viola is survived by her sons Harry Raymond (Lisa) Zimmerman, Jr. of Glenshaw, PA and John Bardonner (Joan) Zimmerman of Fairfax, VA and their families which include seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death in 1970 by her beloved husband of 35 years Harry Raymond Zimmerman, Sr. and her brothers Dr. John Nicholas Bardonner, Samuel Edward Bardonner, William Stuart Bardonner and James Orran Bardoner and her sister Esther Marie Guilliard.
