Paul proudly served as a Naval officer in the Korean War including the Battle of Inchon. He was a Professional Engineer for Westinghouse designing jet engines aviation gas turbines, achieved advanced degrees in both nuclear mechanical engineering.

Paul was Technical Director of the Air Waste Management Association a leading advocate in the field of environmental engineering. He served on the Pleasant Hills Planning Commission enjoyed travel, playing Bridge, golf tennis with friends. He was a Salesman, member of the First Presbyterian Church where he was an Elder, The Fraternal Order of the ARCHON, where he was the alumni of the year in 2008, an Eagle Scout and a volunteer for GAHS football team for several years. Surviving is his Son and Daughter-in-law Joe and Amber Roderus of Syracuse OH, Daughter and Son-in-law Jill and Shawn Kilbourn of Clawson, MI. Grandchildren: Gabriel, Jacob, Cassidy, Zoe and Fletcher. Sister and Brother-in-law: Carol and Bob Adamek of Monroeville, PA Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law Kent and Lou Ann Shawver of Gallipolis and several nieces and nephews. ROGER D. Age 75, of Mount Lebanon, on Thursday afternoon, July 23, 2009. Beloved husband for 41 years of Judy (Forquer) Sutton; devoted father of Melinda (Jay) Hofmann of Montclair, NJ and Joshua Sutton of Columbus, OH; loving grandfather of Caleb and William Hofmann; brother of the late Herbert Rinne and Audrey Fregin. Dr. Sutton was a 1952 graduate of Washington Jefferson College; a 1960 graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia; and continued his education with 4 years of Post Med School Studies at the University of Pittsburgh where he served on their faculty from 1961 1975.

Dr. Sutton was on staff at the Veterans Administration Hospital on University Drive from 1961970; and at the Highland Drive facility from 1990 2000; he had been the Chief of Cardiology at MaGee Women's Hospital for several years; and had a private practice in the South Hills from 1970 1989. The family plans no public visitations; interment in Mount Lebanon Cemetery was private; A Memorial Service will be held in the Main Sanctuary of Southminster Presbyterian Church, Saturday morning, August 29th at 10 o'clock.
