Born September 12, 1915 in Hazleton, Pa. died September 1, 2010 just 11 days short of her 95th birthday of advanced Leukemia. She lived the last five years in the Rappahannock Westminster Canterbury retirement facility in lrvington, Va.

to be near family in the area. Most of her life was lived in the Pittsburgh, Pa. area but during WWII she enlisted in the Women's Marine Corps for two years and was stationed in California. Graduating from the Margaret Morrison Carnegie College of Carnegie Tech, she devoted most of her career working for U. S.

Steel as an executive secretary. An ardent supporter of all things Pittsburgh, her particular interest was in the Arts: the Pittsburgh Symphony, ballet, plays and the like. She had an outgoing and direct personality and a good number of close friends. They traveled MARIANI IRMA With faith in our Lord God, we honor Irma (DiSalvatore) Mariani, age 93, of Ingram, previously of Swissvale and Rankin, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 5, 2010 with her devoted family by her side. Irma was born in Bon Aire, PA on Nov.

9, 1916. She was married on April 22, 1937 to Dominic A. Mariani (deceased) of Rankin and was the daughter of Enrico and Josephine (Scarlatelli) DiSalvatore of Bon Aire. She is survived by four children: Joanne (the late Reno) DiCesare of Ingram, Elaine (Gerry) Tatka of Bridgeville, Alvin (Nan) Mariani of Export, and Roland (Diane) Mariani of Conneaut Lake; 14 grandchildren: Atty. Thor (Kim) DiCesare, Chandler (Erica) DiCesare, Celeste (Dr.

Rick) Grenci, Bonnie (Dave) Lafferty, Amber (Maj. Edward) Jackson, Dr. Jason Tatka, Dr. Keith Tatka, Debra (Al) Dietrich, Lori Mariani, Dana Sikora, Lisa (Ken) Pascuzzi, Mark Mariani, Matthew (Michelle) Mariani and Lea (Tony) Nicotra; 18 great-grandchildren: Andrew, Anthony, Ashley, Caleb, Chloe, Colton, Dominic, Isaac, Isabel, Isabella, Leah, Meredith, Reno, Ronan, Ryder, Steven, Tara, and Troy; dear sister of Rose (the late Eddie) Valentas, late brothers: Patrick (Elsa) Delmar, Johnny (Katie) DiSalvatore, and her late sister-in-law, Mary (Tony) Meglio; and her nieces and nephews: Brian Delmar, Lynn (Rod) Elgie, Linda (Frank) Bey, Shirley (Bo) Ricci, Eddie (Elaine) Valentas, Carol (Rich) Descak, Hank (Barb) DiSalvatore, Gino (Carol) Meglio, Mario (Rosemary) Meglio and the late Olivio Meglio. Irma will be remembered as a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who loved to cook, bake, babysit or whatever was necesary to help anyone inneed.

Kathy married Raymond Pujol in 1993, and together they raised their beautiful son Cley.

Kathy was an intellectual property paralegal at Pepper Hamilton for 11 years and previously worked at Papernick Gefsky. She graduated from Robert Morris College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Kathy was an avid runner who completed three marathons. She also played tennis, softball and cycled. She was a friend and advocate to everyone who crossed her path.

She loved her generous and kind Barberry Court neighbors, and served on her neighborhood association board. She had also been active with the Franklin Area Midget Football Association. She is the daughter of John and the late Marie Hooper, and the stepdaughter of Carole Hooper. She is also survived by her brother Jim Hooper (Janene); her sisters, Sr. Mary Andrew (Aileen Hooper), Trish Hooper (Julian Neiser) and Jo Anne Concannon (Bryan); nieces and nephews Bryan, Ashley, Rebecca, Andy, and Christopher Pujol, Melanie and Alex Hooper, and Ryan and Caitlin Concannon.

She was a devout Christian and regularly attended the Third Presbyterian Church in Shadyside and was an active member. She is survived by two brothers: John R. Lynch of Lewes, Del. and Donald W. Lynch of Kilmarnock, a sister-in-law: Doris "Hank" Lynch of Kilmarnock, four nieces: Carol Ann Roberts of Irvington, Nancy Massingham, Edgartown, Joanna Lynch of Trinidad, Tracy Krause of Phoenix, a nephew: Jeffrey Lynch of College Park, MD; four grand nieces and nephews; six great grand nieces and nephews.

Bill was an avid golfer and bowler, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Bill was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins from his home in Florida. Bill was a former member of College Hill Methodist Church in Beaver Falls, Pa, and Hebron Presbyterian Church in Clinton, PA.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Carol Jennings Yoho, and his three daughters, Sandra Trachsel, JoAnn McMurray, and Carolyn Fry. In addition, Bill had four grandchildren, Lainey Resetar, Brenen LaGard, Aaron Trachsel, and Anna Fry. He is survived by a sister, Ruth Lusby of Paris, Texas, and two brothers, Burt Yoho of Beaver and Ron Yoho of Beaver Falls.
