DeLELLIS, CDP Age 91, of McCandless Twp. On Saturday, June 19, 2010. Sr. DeLellis entered religious life at 16 from St. Parish in Beaver Falls.

She was trained as an educator and taught at Carrick, Herman, Sharpsburg, Rochester and East Liberty. She served in Arecibo and Utuado, Puerto Rico, as a teacher. From 1962 to 1983 she worked at Divine Providence Hospital in the Business Office. She then went to Monaca as Administrative Assistant and finally to Providence Heights, where she gave years of service in the archives. Preceded in death by her parents Michael and Freda Mackenstein Oravitz; siblings Freda, Paul, Charles, George, Marcela, Raymond, and Leonard.

Survived by one sister, Dolores Bender of Koppel, PA; nieces and nephews, and Sisters of Divine Providence and Associates throughout the world. Samson was born to the late Remedios (Taborangao) Tomas Paguia and Manuel Toyrosa Paguia on the island of Lanai, Hawaii on March 21, 1939. He served in the US Air Force from 1960 to 1964 as an Airman First Class, and, after moving to Pittsburgh in 1966 with his wife and daughters, worked for many years at the Hospital. In 1996, Samson fulfilled his lifelong dream and earned a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Samson had many hobbies and interests, including numismatics, which led him to co-found the Pennsylvania Association of Numismatics (PAN) in 1978. Politics interested him greatly and he corresponded with a number of international dignitaries, as well as US politicians at the federal, state and local level.

Gardening was another great passion of his and he enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labor with friends and family. will be remembered by his friends and family for his willingness to offer a warm nui his ready smile, incredible intelligence, dry sense of humor, kindness and generosity. In 2000 Sister received the Golden Apple Award by the Diocese of Pittsburgh in recognition for her excellence in teaching and service to the church and community. Sister's years of ministry to children in the classroom and her sisters in the community were dotted with a very generous and joy filled spirit which she radiated to all.
