He retired after 45 years from Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania where he had various assignments in outside plant construction, including four years with the Ballistics Missile Early Warning System. He served as a pilot in the Navy during World War II and the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Silver Eagles Association and continued in the active reserves, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He was a member of Lodge 269 F. AM, and a 32nd Degree member of the Scottish Rite of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

and Mayme Westover Ross. She married Harold H. Hudson on March 28, 1937 and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2001. Mrs. Hudson was a homemaker.

She was a member of Scotch Hill United Methodist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Hudson lived in the Point Breeze area of Pittsburgh while raising their family. While there, Louise was involved in activities at Waverly Presbyterian Church.

She was a Girl Scout Council member and was active in the PTA at Park Place School, serving as president and holding other offices over the years and was also active at Taylor Allderdice High School PTA. The couple relocated to Clarion after Mr. Hudson's retirement in 1975. Mrs. Hudson is survived by one son and three daughters: Harold B.

Hudson and his wife, Helen of Export, PA; Mary MacKay of Leeper; Jean Masco of Lakeway, Texas and Miriam Thompson of Oxford, North Carolina. She is also survived by a close sister-in-law, Geneveive Molek of Sharon. In addition she is survived by ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, five great- great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Her family will always remember Louise as a kind and loving woman, devoted to her family and shall miss her always. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs.

LORELDA OSF On Monday, March 18, 2013. Beloved daughter of the late William and Elda Kilchenstein; sister of Imelda Devine and the late William Kilchenstein and Gene Margaret Flaherty. Sister Lorelda ministered in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, PA, Columbus, GA and Milwaukee, WI for 69 years. Sister taught school in Pittsburgh only briefly before receiving her BSN from Duquesne University. She was then assigned to St.

Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia where she worked for 10 years. After this, sister received a MSN from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and then joined the faculty of Alverno College in Milwaukee for 3 years. Sister Lorelda returned home and began a long tenure on the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh and Community College of Allegheny County. Following this she returned to Mt.

Alvernia where she served as Local Minister for the sisters in her community for 6 years. Sister received many accolades during her nursing career one such being received into the Sigma Theta Tau National Honorary Nursing Society. Sister Lorelda will be always remembered fondly by all who knew her for her gracious acceptance of life with gratitude. Visitation at the MT.
