He so enjoyed the time that he spent with his grandchildren and the special times at Jim and home.

After graduating from Central Catholic High School in 1948, Joe enrolled at St. Francis College of Loretto Pa. where he captained the tennis team. Before graduating from St. Francis, Joe spent four years in the United States Air Force at Lackland Air Force Base receiving his discharge as a Master Sergeant.

Beginning in 1958, Joe established a family business, Moran Scientific, which he operated in partnership with his two sons, Jack and Jim, for 55 years continuing today. While raising his children in Monroeville, he became very involved in community life working on various boards and coaching youth sports teams. true passions in life included golf and card games with his good buddies at Churchill Valley Country Club, traveling with his beloved wife, and especially playing bridge, a game in which he was highly accomplished, with Arlene and their many great friends. A true Pittsburgh sports fan, he followed Pitt, the Pirates and Penguins. Joe avidly followed the Steelers, witnessing four Super Bowl victories and the Immaculate Reception.

He will truly be missed by his loving family and many friends. He was a devoted member of St. Bernadette's Parish, North American Martyrs Church and finally Mother of Sorrows Parish where he attended Mass with Arlene. Friends will be received at the GENE H. CORL INC.

Age 86, of White Oak and formerly of Port Vue, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born October 25, 1926 in Braddock, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Mizla) Liptak. An outstanding four sport athlete at McKeesport High School, John was a record setting gridiron star at Auburn University, where he also played baseball. John taught and coached at Wilmerding and McKeesport High Schools, and retired as assistant superintendent at East Allegheny High School, where he was formerly assistant principal.

John also served in the US Army, received a Masters in Education from Duquesne University, and his Superintendent Letters from Youngstown State University. He was also an avid coin collector. wife, the late Esther (Gavin) Liptak, passed away April 6, 2002. He is survived by daughters, Johannah Robb, and husband Art, of Beaver and Patricia Liptak McGrail, and husband John, of Mt. On Wednesday, February 13, 2013, age 83, of Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople, formerly of Bradford Woods and Bethel Park. Born in Kansas City, MO, on September 25, 1929. He was the son of the late Guy and Opal Flynn Hollingshad. Bill was a Chemist for Corporation. He was a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers.

He attended the Gibsonia Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir. An avid reader, Bill was also a local library volunteer. He served as a Lt. Col. in the United States Army Reserves for 30 years and was a private pilot flying Cessna's and was an avid woodworker.

Surviving are his daughter, Helen Hollingshad of Collegeville, PA, his son, Nicholas Hollingshad and his wife, Linda of Clinton, SC; his grandchildren, Arlough and Alex Hollingshad; a sister, Frances Berg and her husband, Lowell in Franklin, NC; his mother-in-law, Lois Sahli of Zelienople; three sisters-in-law, Joan Black in MD, and Julia McCurdy and Linda Van Dyke, both in Cranberry and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Pohtos Hollingshad, who he married on December 26, 1953 and who died on January 14, 1988; by his second wife, Sandra L. Sahli Hollingshad, who he married on May 20, 1989 and who died on March 27, 2011; by a brother, John Hollingshad and a sister, Norma Gieringer. Albert Lee McDonald, son of the late Frank and Geneva Chandler McDonald, one of eight siblings. He was married to Lois Jean Payne McDonald for 57 years. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army and served from April 1955 through June 1977. He served in France, Vietnam, Germany, Belgium NATO, and other military posts within the United States. He was also a retired Postal Worker.

He was preceded in death by children, Brian Keith, Martin Albert, Deborah; and granddaughter, Alexandrea Lynn. He is survived by wife, Lois Jean Payne McDonald; children, Gregory P. McDonald, Jeffrey L.P. McDonald, and Donna J. Davis; grandchildren, Gabriella, Ailena, and Mathew McDonald; special great-nephew and niece, Que Shawn and Razia Williams.

His brother, Joseph McDonald (Annette) and sister, Inez Kastzenbach; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
