Year In Shuffle By Giants 2 Promotion of rancis Parker manager of the Danville Leafs the past season to the post of managing Dallas in the Class AA Texas League stirred specula tion among local ers today The New York Giants who op erate Danville as announced yesterday that Eddie Stanky was as manager of their triple AMinneapolis club that Dallas manager John Davis will manage the Millers in 1957 and that Parker was being assigned to manage Dallas Word was being awaited here today from the headquar ters in New York to a wired query as to who would be assigned to replace Parker as pilot of the Leafs provided the Giants ope rate the local club again in 1957 (The decision hinges upon the suc 1 cess oi me saie oi aavance season tickets a project of the Danville Kiwams club) The new pilot most likely will come from another club in the nine member New York farm sys tem ranging down to Class one year tenure In Danville thus apparently satisfied Giant officials that he merits the promotion to organization Previously he managed Shreveport an inde pendent team in the Texas League for five years in addition to man aging Temple and Tyler in the Class Big State League He finally decided that
