a Herald-Zettung, New Braunfels, Texas Sunday, December 14, 1966 Young, Corder say vows in double-ring ceremony Karen Young and George Corder were married in a double ceremony Nov. 29 at the Sportsmen's Club. The Rev. Kenneth Jump officiated at the 7 p.m. rites.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Dede Young of Rt. 8, Box 88, New Braunfels. The groom is the son of Ann Corder of Whiteville, N.C., and Gene Corder of Fairfax, S.C. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a satin and venice lace gown fashioned with basque waistline, fitted bodice, Elizabethan sleeves, full skirt with tiers of chantilly lace ruffles and a chapel-length train. She wore a tiara which held a vell edged with venice lace.

She carried a bouquet of yellow silk roses with royal blue star flowers, babys breath and white velvet ribbon. Audrey Young of New Braunfels served as her sister's maid of honor. She wore a royal blue dress with sweetheart neckline and flared skirt with ruffles on the train. She also wore a white hat with royal blue velvet ribbon. She carried a bouquet of yellow silk roses with royal blue star flowers, babys breath and white velvet ribbon.

The gown was trimmed with alencon lace. Maid of honor was Mary San Antonio of Bowie, who wore a burgundy, street taffeta dress. Best man was Russell Goldstein of Fairfleld, Calif.

Assisting at the service were the bride's brothers, Danny Sheehan and Brendan Sheehan; the bride's sister, Jackie Sheehan; and the groom's brother, Karl Crenwelge. A champagne brunch at LaFontaine Bleu in Lanham, followed the wedding ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Roy H.

Crenwelge hosted the rehearsal dinner at Rib's Country Inn in Mitchellville, Md. The couple took a wedding trip to Harper's Ferry, W.Va., and colonial Williamsburg, Va.
