And, of course, the current "SNL" repertory company, including Dana Carvey, Nora Dunn, Jon Lovitz and Dennis Miller, is on hand. Past guest hosts who returned for the extravaganza actors Tom Hanks, Charlton Heston and Mary Tyler Moore and comedians Steve Martin and Eric Idle -were as famous as the musical guests, Prince and Paul Simon, both of whom perform.
