Southern Edison was boosted along to new territory at 71 from 69, easing to 71. Pacific Ga.s sold up to 70, Pacific Lighting at 56 and Pacific Public Service at 27. The buying In Hawaiian Pineapple was quite small. It la evident that there Is little of the stock loose and that to get it the buyer must give it all the traffic will bear. At its new high today it sold at 68.

There was one new low on the board to offset these gains. Leslie Salt sold down to 28. Parafflne was one-of the good performers among the Industrials. It has been slowly advancing for nearly two weeks and holding onto what lb gains. Today it was at its highest for several weeks at 87.

Caterpillar was very firm and at 1 o'clock was' selling up to 85. Magnavox held around 4.05 and Kolster, after opening at 36, slipped to 36. Byron Jackson showed little change at 38. The twp Olivers are beginning to dd better after their long sleep, The A today gold up to 34 and the II to 30ft. Marchant did little.

It got up to 33 for a time and went back to 32. Crown Willamette was unchanged at lift. Clorox Bold at 40 and John Bean at 60. The oils for the most part showed fractional losses. North American sold at 36, Richfield at 41, Standard at 73, Shell at 27.

Italo Pete was unchanged at 3.00 and Universal at 1.60. Occidental Pete was off 10 cents at 3.00. Transamercla was off at 136 and Bank of America at 217ft showed a loss of 1. UNITED GETS SIKORSKY. United Aircraft and Transport corporation, which has control of Boeing Aircraft, has acquired the Sikorsky Aviation corporation, but the basis of the exchange of the stocks of the two companies is un disclosed at present, according to Dow, Jones Co.

Sikorsky adds to the United com-pany producers of one of the most successful amphibian manufacturers in the world and brings Into the group Igor Sikorsky, one of the greatest designers in aviation. This company has unfilled orders for planes of $5, 000, 000, and is expected to show a net income for 1929 of nearly $4 per share on the company's 200,000 shares of stock outstanding. KINNEH AIRPLANES. The activity in Klnner Airplane and "Motor company stock and warrants on Los Angeles curb during the past few days is attributed in official quarters to eastern buying predicated on favorable position of the company at present and bright prospects for the future. The company now averages seven motors dally production, compared with slightly better than five dally during June, Robert Porter, chairman, told Dow Jones Co.

Although the volume of orders on hand Continues well above 1000 motors, and Bhlnnina- requirements for July were previously stated to De 300, it is stated the company will be able to ship only approximately 160 motors during July. Flour prices were advanced 20 cents a barrel today, the third advance this week, showing a gain of 60 cents a barrel since July 6. Revised price lists are announced by Sperry Flour company and AI-bers Milling company, headed by a basis of 38 on two 98's. This price covers delivery to stores with, in San Francisco and the bay district. 1 Stimulated by the alarming news of the northwest wheat crop, which Is "lacing "almost -certain disaster, has been the sudden impetus to higher prices on the milled product throughout the country. Coupled with the possible destruction of the spring wheat crop, millers report stocks ot flour as low and difficulty is experienced in filling spot orders.
