THE THURSDAY, JUNE ZS, IMi MEADE BRUNET Brunet Leads Alumni Parade Meade Brunet of Mendham, retired vice president of the Radio Corporation of America (RCA), was grand marshal for the June 13 alumni parade of Union College, Schenectady, NY. The annual parade is the highlight of ReUnion- Weekend at the college. A 1916 Union graduate, Brunet is a former member and chairman of the College Board of Trustees. He served as acting president of Union for six months in 1965. In June of 1965, the College Alumni Council awarded Brunet an Alumni Gold Medal for service to Union.

The following year, the college awarded him an honorary Doctor of Laws degree. A native of Petersburg, and an Army veteran of World War Brunet was associated with the General Electric Company from 1919 to 1922, when he left to accept a position at RCA. He was vice president of the corporation from 1946 until his retirement in 1966, and he was director of RCA's international division for 11 years. AllCE W. He has served churches in the northern New Jersey Conference since 19M, including student pastorates at Finesville, Asbury, Norton and Glen Gardner. He was associate minister at Westood UMC from 1966-72, when he was ordained an elder (1970). Prom 1972-lt78 he served the Livingston UMC and has been pastor of the Flemington church since 1179.

He has been active in community affairs in the communities he has served.
