These seem to be the questions on most of the citi-xens lips today. Well, it is true when you walk down the streets and see the little hep csts and jitterbuggin chicks you do stop and wonder and possibly a tang of fear for tha future will girp your heart and you will become quite dubious as to whether they will be able to make the grade.

Well, throw that fear and worry out of your mind. Arent those kide yours, arent they made of tho same sturdy, dependable material that you are? How can they fail? Didnt you have fun back in your younger days? (And still are). Didnt you want to drosa like the other kids dressed? Laughter and play and little scraps are part of youth and you have had your share just like they are having theirs. BUT when the time eame for you to do a job in tho First World War, didnt you do It? And when leaa than 25 yaara later, your sons and daughters had to do a still bigger job, didnt they do it? Well, what the heck are you doubting these youngsters for? Give them eredit for having the same sense of responsibility to their parents, friends and country as you had. Another thing, the youth of today hat the determination to be able to pick up where we are leaving off.

And youd bo surprised how these youngsters are preparing themselves educationally, physically, mentally and even financially for that time. No chile, the kids of today are stone solid if you taka time out to study them and the good things they are doing instead of every childish prank, you would know I am laying the natural truth on you.
