Deafness Cannot be Cured by local applications, as they cannot reach the diseased portion of the ear. There is only one way to cure deaf. ness, and that is by constitutional remedies. Deafness is caused by an inflamed condition of the mucous lin ing of the Eustachian Tube. When this tube is you have a rumbling sound imperfect hearing and when it is entirely closed, Deaf ness is the result, and unless the in flamation can be taken out and this tube restored to its normal condition, hearing will be destroyed forever; nine cases out of ten are caused by Catarrh, which is nothing but an in flamed condition of the mucous sure faces.

We will give One Hundred Dollars for any case of Deafness (caused by catarrh) that cannot be cured by Hall's Catarrh Cure. Send for cir. culars free. F. J.

The mucous membrane is, -one may say, the interior lining of the body. Catarrh therefore may exist in any part of the system. When the catarrhal poison attacks the mucous membrane, inflamation and congestion are produced and nature fails to throw off the accumulated poisons. The organ which has been afflicted ceases to perform its proper function as nature intended it should. The result is, complication upon complication, which may lead to other even more serious afflictions.

We honestly believe Rexall MucuTone will do wonders toward overcoming cattarrh. It is made from the prescription of an eminent physician who made a long study of catarrh, and his great success with this remedy is an enviable one. We want you if you are a sufferer from catarrh in any form to give Rexall Mucu-Tone a thorough trial. Use it with regularity and persistency for a reasonable length, then if you are not satisfied, come back and tell us, and without question or formality we will hand back to you every cent you paid us. This is certainly the fairest offer that any one could make and should should attest our sincerity of purpose.

It comes in two sizes, prices 5 cents and $1.00. Remember you can obtain it only at- The Rexall Store. Nature undoubtedly intended the scientist in question to be a healer of the sick, through the medium of the wonderful discovery he made. After experimenting with many combinations of roots and herbs since early manhood, he at last discovered the wonderful Root Juice to which hundreds are now indebted for the recovery of their health, after having suffered for years with chronic stomach, liver or kidney trouble. While Root Juice is (comparatively speaking) a new remedy, it represents many years of hard study and numerous expertments, and is medical masterpiece of a man who has studied the merits of various roots and herbs for twenty years, and is rapidly covering the country with grateful people, who will always be thankful to Root Juice for the restoration of their health. If you are suffering with stomach, liver, kidney or bowel trouble, you shoud go to Layotn Neilson's drug store, and they will tell you all about the many. wonderful cures Root Juice has made In this logallty.

The last legislature spent more money than it appropriated for legislative expenses, at least the state auditor, W. E. Davis, is afraid that such will turn out to be the case, judging from his present estimate of expenses. This estimate shows that the expenditures will run about seventy dollars more than the $75,000 appropriation. But the effort will be made to pay all bills and get an even break on the balance sheet.

The legislature of 1909 appropriated $69,000 and managed to keep its expenditures within that amount. The following is the itemized list of legislative expenses of the last session: Senate Postage 840.00 Mileage 1,839 15 Per diem 7,330.00 Employees 19,363.00 House Postage 2,480.00 Mileage 7,411.50 Per diem 18,615.00 Employees 14,389.00 Miscellaneaus 2,804.18 Total both houses $75,071.83 Warning to Railroad Men Look out for severe and even dan. gerous kidney and bladder trouble resulting from years of railroading. There was a continual ain across my back and hips and my kidneys gave me much distress, and the action of my bladder was frequent and most painful. I got a supply of Foley Kidney Pills and the first bottle made a wonderful improvement and four bottles cured me completely. Since being cured I have recommended Foley Kidney Pills to many of my railroad friends." For sale by all Druggists.

Governor Stubbs yesterday vetoed the bill which amended the present inheritance tax law, under which all direct heirs would have been exempted from legacy taxes.

The old law now stands which exempts inheritances up to $5,000. In his veto message, the governor said: "The retroactive parts of this bill which exempts wealthy estates from paying an inheritance. tax are reupgrant to every law of justice and decency. "I am earnestly in favor of exempting from the provisions of this bill direct heirs of all persons of small estates up to $25,000. I am also in favor of the legislature refunding to the small estates the inheritance tax money that has already been collected on amounts below that exemption, but I believe it woulld be a long step backward to decide the wealth of the state shall not bear its full share of the burden of taxation The inheritance tax law is the only law upon the statutes of this state that attempts to tax wealth according to modern thought and sense of justice."
