I now tear full-page advertisements or pictures out of old magazines and he takes his own blunt children's scissors and makes his own puzzles.

He enjoys cutting the different shapes and putting the picture back together. When he tires of this picture he makes himself another G.S. DEAR pull a wire coat hanger out from the hook to make a long piece about one and a half inches wide. Then 1 cut a piece of an old bath towel a little more than twice tlie width of the stretch-out hanger. I sew the towelling up the sides and across the bottom and turn the sewed sides to the inside.

Slide the hanger into this case. This is very useful for cleaning narrow hard-to-get-at places. DEAR POLLY Physical fitness is so much in the news today that my son wanted a of barbells and dumbells which we could not possibly afford. My husband came up with a wonderful substitute everybody is happy. One-half gallon plastic bleach bottles were filled with water to make "instant" dumbbells.

Then he filled gallon plastic bKJttles one-half full to start with and secured them to a five foot piece of plumbing pipe. Each end weighs the sajne. As our son progresses, we add more water to tlie bottles and then more bottles. This was quite inexpensive and now even Mother lift them. MRS.
